Ingredients
  

  • 400 g carob flour or flour with carob
  • 200 g fresh unsalted butter
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 apple
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 250 g milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla or orange zest
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon powder

  • Grater for apple
  • Mixer with whisk attachment
  • Mixing bowls
  • Cake pan or baking pan with parchment paper
  • Oven
  • Cooling rack

Method
 

  1. Mash the bananas with a fork or in a blender with blades.
  2. Grate the apple and mix them together with the butter and mashed bananas.
  3. Beat them in the mixer with a wire for about 3 minutes and add the eggs one by one.
  4. Slowly add the carob flour together with the cinnamon powder, milk and beat in the mixer for two minutes. Then add the mixture to the cake pan or to a pan with baking paper.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before unmolding.
