Sugar-free carob cake with banana and apple

Servings: 6-8   |   Time: 1 hour


  • 400 g carob flour or flour with carob
  • 200 g fresh unsalted butter
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 apple
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 250 milk of your choice
  • 1 vanilla or orange zest
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder


STEP 1 | Mash the bananas with a fork or in a blender with blades.

STEP 2 | Grate the apple and mix them together with the butter and mashed bananas.

STEP 3 | Beat them in the mixer with a wire for about 3 minutes and add the eggs one by one.

STEP 4 | Slowly add the carob flour together with the cinnamon powder, milk and beat in the mixer for two minutes. Then add the mixture to the cake pan or to a pan with baking paper.

STEP 5 | Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes.

STEP 6 | Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before unmolding.
